One reader really tuned in and asked the RIGHT question.

Had some wedding guest drama yesterday.  Seems to be solved.  Thank God.

Also, It appears to have stopped raining and the sun is coming out.  Good news since I am sans umbrella today.

I spent last night sitting at the dining room table (which has now become wedding-central, see photo on left.) getting together the last  pieces of the few I had left to assemble that didn't make it into Friday night's assembly line.

I don't even know how to begin writing this post.  I'm still trying to nail down all the details.  It went so ridiculously fast and was all so surreal.

Feeling a bit under the weather today, hence the short post.

This week's selection:  California Stars sung by Billy Bragg and Wilco.

The lyrics to this song were written by Woody Guthrie shortly before he passed away in 1967.  They were finally put to music some 30 years later.

Ha. Funny little 'word cloud'. I got overwhelmed and tired of looking at my To Do List/Outline so I randomized it (really just part of it). I know, I know, crazy. I should spend my time trying to solve bigger, more important problems like who the next Supreme Court Justice should be.

Damn it Tuesday.

I ripped a contact lense, consequently now wearing glasses.

Broken zipper on the skirt that I originally wanted to wear this morning.  Emergency outfit re-do.

My hair dryer broke- not just that it stopped working, it starting smoking at the plug.  Half my head was dry resulting in a frizzy pony-tail.

It's trash day which makes for a less than pleasing walk to work.

Our engagement video arrived, much to my surprise, on my Facebook page this past Friday evening.  We were already late getting out the door to meet our friends, but I made Keith sit back down and watch it with me anyway.  He's such a good guy that he lovingly obliged.

Well, here it is: February.  I swear, I don't know where this month came from.  I blinked and it was here.  But really, I wish it were June (or even May...I'll take May).  I just want to be done with winter already.

Over the wind.

Over the snow.

Over waking up when it's dark.

Over leaving work when it's dark.
